Pharmaceutical Sciences student Huda Zughaid has been awarded a prize for her poster presentation at the 2009 British Pharmaceutical Conference.

Huda, currently in the 3rd year of her PhD supervised by Professor Gary Martin, Dr Nilesh Patel and Dr Ben Forbes presented on the title 'Solubilisation of steroid drugs by simulated intestinal fluids containing lipids'

The presentation of the prize was awarded by Dr Eddie French of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Dr Frances Stops of GlaxoSmithKline.
